Clinical Governance
Healthcall Optical Services operate a robust clinical governance process and all our optometrists are regularly audited enabling us to monitor the standard of work and record keeping. We actively promote and encourage continued learning for all our clinical staff.
All customer facing personnel are checked by the Criminal Records Bureau. Our staff are chosen for their empathy with the elderly and those with disabilities. They also undergo a certified programme provided by the Alzheimer’s Society.
We notify the local Primary Care Trust/Health Boards of every nursing/residential home at which we are the service provider. This process ensures the appropriate use of Department of Health funding and is a regulatory process by each Primary Care Trust/Health Board.
